While listening to Sir Tsukumo and Sir Yuruyana's explanations, the division commander carefully watched my condition. The other court Arcanists were also observing me, which made me very nervous.

Even I, meeting Sir Ricardo for the first time, could tell he was competing with Sir Tsukumo.

I felt Lady Helmine quietly put her hand around my waist, and I knew she was saying, "That man is troublesome because he knows he's attractive."
Since I rarely attend parties or interact with men, and I'm not used to women like her who handle such situations gracefully, I didn't know how to react.
Then, Sir Ricardo quickly stepped in.
"Luka Oldrinii! Stop flirting here!"
"It's fine, really. Even if you're a magic teacher, you have no right to interfere in her personal life, right?"
"Shut up! Outsiders, go home!"
Sir Luka seemed to be teasing Sir Ricardo.
"It's okay. I just really want to thank you, there's no hidden motive."
Raising both hands in surrender, Sir Luka grinned.
"My favorite is always the captain."
Somehow, those words felt sincere. Clearly, Sir Luka thinks Sir Tsukumo is very important.
I felt a bit of a connection, as it seemed like my relationship with Lady Helmine.
