Volume 1 Chapter 20 It Feels Good To Thoroughly Clean The House Once In A While

Summary of the previous chapter: It's not a problem to eat out even with diabetes as long as you pay attention to your order.

Now, after having lunch at Saidesuka (Side?) and satisfying our hunger,

"Well then, let's go home now."

"Yes, we need to clean the house when we get back."

We finished paying and left the restaurant.

"Okay, I'll take care of cleaning the house for once. Mom, could you do the grocery shopping for dinner? Let's walk today."

"Sure, let's do that for some exercise."

And so, I parted ways with my mom and headed home.

On the way, I stopped by the 100 yen shop.

Items like cleaning cloths, melamine sponges, grease removers, and oxygen-based bleach can be easily found and bought at the 100 yen shop.

Once I bought the cleaning supplies, I headed home, changed into clothes that I didn't mind getting dirty, and started cleaning.

First, let's start with cleaning the floor, but before that, remove small items like mats and rugs that can be washed and put them in the washing machine for cleaning.

Then, use a dry mop to remove things like hair and dust from the floor.

If you use a vacuum cleaner right away, the dust will be blown away by the vacuum's exhaust.

Once it looks mostly clean, then use the vacuum cleaner.

Focus on difficult areas like corners and grooves that are hard to clean with a mop, and move the head slowly to ensure that the dust is well sucked up.

Next, use a wet mop to wipe away the dust that has stuck to the floor, and for areas with noticeable dirt, use a firmly wrung cloth to wipe directly with water, and then dry it off.

"Hmm, I wonder if it's shiny now?"

The process for carpets and rugs that can't be washed is similar, but instead of a mop, use a brush to remove dust, and use a carpet cleaner to remove dust and hair.

After that, for rugs and carpets, vacuum with the pile raised, and after removing the dirt, vacuum again with the pile back to normal.

Finally, after soaking a cloth in diluted neutral detergent and squeezing it tightly, wipe the bathtub in the direction of the fur, making sure to penetrate to the roots. This will make it clean as well.

"Yes, it has become quite clean."

For the bathroom, first turn on the ventilation fan to ventilate, then lightly rinse the entire bathroom with the shower. Spray mold remover in places prone to mold, such as the corners, and leave it for a while.

In the meantime, let's clean the toilet.

First, sprinkle neutral detergent in the toilet bowl and scrub the dirt inside with a brush.

Then, wipe the tank, lid, the underside of the lid, seat, the underside of the seat, and the outside of the toilet with a toilet cleaning sheet.

Clean the walls and floor with a cleaning sheet as well.

For the black stains in the toilet bowl, spray a small amount of alkaline, chlorine-based detergent and scrub to remove them. For water stains and discoloration, spray a small amount of acidic detergent and scrub to remove them.

 "The toilet is done."

After finishing the toilet, return to the bathroom, rinse off the mold remover with the shower, and then clean the bathtub with a bathtub cleaner and a bathroom cleaning sponge.

After finishing the bathtub, clean the bathroom walls with a bathroom brush.

Polish the mirror with a scale remover to make it clean.

Open the drain, remove hair accumulated inside, scrub around with a brush to remove sliminess, open the trap, turn it upside down, evenly apply pipe cleaner, and leave it for a while.

If you regularly clean the bathroom sink and mirror as well, the sliminess around the drain trap will eventually disappear. Put it back, and rinse it thoroughly with water.

"Now, it's time for the kitchen."

Water stains on faucets, tile around the gas stove, oil stains on the range hood, inside the microwave and grill, inside the refrigerator, etc., can be cleaned fairly well with a melamine sponge.

Since our sink is glossy stainless steel, use baking soda for limescale on the sink.

Soak the stove grates in water and add oxygen bleach.

For stubborn burnt areas on the grates and stove, use a burnt residue remover and scrub.

For the microwave, put wet kitchen paper inside, microwave it, and after oil stains come up, easily remove the dirt with a melamine sponge.

"Kitchen cleaning is just like this."

After that, wipe the table and chairs with a wrung-out cloth, and then dry them.

With the cleaning almost finished, my mother returned.

"I'm home. Oh my, you've worked so hard on cleaning."

"It feels good when you thoroughly clean."

 "Then, I'll start preparing dinner."

 "Okay."

I hang and dry the rug I was washing, and since the washing machine is open, I wash the sheets, pillow covers, and even the slacks from my school uniform.

Even in seasons when I don't sweat much, I want to make sure to wash the slacks properly every one or two weeks.

I sleep with a towel under my pillow cover, but if sweat seeps in and bacteria multiply, it can cause acne and skin problems.

Although I use deodorizing spray on the slacks, it doesn't remove the dirt, so it's important to wash them properly.

Hello, we have other project about someone who has returned from an isekai. The main character is a hero who has defeated the Demon Lord. However, for some reason, the human-demon war has resumed and will take place in the MC's original world. The MC, unaware of this, meets a Saint from that world and asks them to join the war. But what does the MC say? They refuse. Is it because their love was rejected by the princess when they adventured together in the past or are they simply fed up? And are the MC will join later? You can find out by clicking on the following => [Link]

We also have a similar genre returned from isekai but has different MC's characteristic. The story is punishing someone who troll in SNS, someone who cheat and many more. You can find out in => [Link]
