Chapter 15 Unregistered Mage

Chapter 15 Unregistered Mage

About two and a half months have passed since I started working as an unregistered mage in the guild. It's already getting chilly around here, and I can feel the signs of winter.

So, it was already autumn when I came here. There is relatively little snow here, and it only seems to fall to cover the area. By the way, the lake does not freeze over either.

The guild also pays for my accommodation at Seteas-san's place. Since I no longer had to pay for accommodation, I didn't running out of money. What's more, if I use the inn's dining room, I'll have my own meals in the guild. On top of that, I received about 5 silver coins on the 6th. I think it's not a bad treatment. I don't have time to spend it, so I just keep accumulating it.

My Healing Attribute level has also increased to 3A (58), but I haven't been able to do so lately. Against Oso (Dreadful element) poison, "This Recover", which can now be used beyond 32 (50), was extremely effective. "Recover (healing spell)" eases the pain, and "This Recover" is almost the end. Honestly, I'm now able to treat more people per day, which is honestly a huge relief.

Since the guild has "confidentiality of personal information" as a pretext for keeping it quiet, it seems that what I'm doing won't be spread, but even so, when I walk outside, someone still nods to me. I don't want to stand out if possible...

I thought I could have a good relationship with Julienne-san for a while, like "What is this?" and all, and I thought I could become popular too. But honestly, it's no good anymore.

I think we've become like friends, but what is it, I wonder? When the reception is open, she helps me. To put it in perspective, it's like a boss and subordinate relationship? Did I have another close female friend? Yes, that's right. Almost, just about a friend. Ah, it was a shame, really a shame...

After that, I also went to the tavern where Mesaja-san is. By chance, Julienne-san happened to be there, and maybe because they both received treatment for Oso poison from me, the two of them quickly became friendly and got along in no time. It's really confusing...

Anyway, I've become good friends with Julienne-san and Mesaja-san, going out to eat once in a while. Each time, the first thing I hear is a word of gratitude, which I wish would somehow stop. Nevertheless, I make it a point to undergo treatment once a month as a preventive measure. It's not like the poison of Oso has disappeared from this world, so the fundamental issue hasn't been resolved.

Adjacent to that soundproof small room in the guild, there's a treatment room, which has become my workplace. I'm also responsible for taking care of injured adventurers. Most of the time, it's just a matter of using the "Recover" spell, and I receive only five skewers as compensation. Of course, for additional cases, I receive compensation separately each time.

At first, my guild rank was F, but solely due to my achievements as an Oso poison treatment mage, I somehow made it to B without even realizing it. From the guild's perspective, it seems that I've contributed that much. I've also become capable of handling requests for space magic transportation, but I'm absolutely told not to accept them. It seems they would be troubled if I were to disappear. Well, that makes sense.

If the Healing Attribute level increases by 2, there awaits a 'Resurrection (revival spell)' that I have never experienced even in my gamer days, currently grayed out and unusable.

In the MMO era, it was something used by characters with high-level Healing Magic in large-scale battles (raids), when allies were knocked into a state of death due to unfair attacks from boss monsters. I've experienced it multiple times in raids, but in reality, it's more of a 'return' or 'revival' rather than 'resurrection'.

Since my Healing Magic level was 'that', I would charge into the front lines with a shield and hammer, heal myself in between attacks, and charge again. I played in a style where I provided auxiliary healing on the front lines.

Even if it becomes usable, I can't talk about it openly. It would definitely cause a commotion. It's not like I want to become famous or anything. I just want to be a little happier than when I was in Japan. I just want to become like those who are fulfilled in real life, but I don't know how to achieve that... I think the road ahead is long.

Anyway, yesterday, I received an old book from Risleyria-san, the guild master. It seemed quite important and old. Apparently, the guild tried to decipher it, but because the text was too ancient, it could only be read by those with knowledge of magic, so they couldn't make much use of it. However, it is definitely a kind of spellbook. The guild has no intention of selling it. They insisted that I read it when I have free time.

So I actually tried reading it. And something strange happened. I could read it. There was something vaguely familiar to me. It's because in the first place, "I, who was forcibly brought to this different world, can understand the language." If you think about it normally, being able to speak and read the language of a different world is already impossible.

Perhaps there's some kind of mysterious system like the one behind "Display Self-Status" that interferes and allows me to understand words and characters. I thought that there must be some kind of filter that enables me to understand the language of this world. However, just because I can read it doesn't mean I can understand the content. But I have come to understand that this book is indeed what they call a spellbook.

And now, the number of people visiting for treatment every day has increased, perhaps because I have increased the number of people I can take care of. The only free time I have is just before bed and on my once-a-week day off, so that's about it. I'm planning to read it carefully in my spare time. I can already anticipate that it will be really interesting and intense.

Hello, we have other project about someone who has returned from an isekai. The main character is a hero who has defeated the Demon Lord. However, for some reason, the human-demon war has resumed and will take place in the MC's original world. The MC, unaware of this, meets a Saint from that world and asks them to join the war. But what does the MC say? They refuse. Is it because their love was rejected by the princess when they adventured together in the past or are they simply fed up? And are the MC will join later? You can find out by clicking on the following => [Link]

We have a new work with genre second life. The story is about a former s*x worker who didn't want to be a loner again, and fulfilling his second life. It has a life conflict and the protagonist will solve it one by one. You can find out in => [Link]
