Chapter 5 Decimal And Hexadecimal Numbers


 It may be a little late, but this part about Space Attribute and Healing Attribute.


 Space Attribute: 1 Healing Attribute: 1F


 Is this like the attribute level? Space Attribute is 1, but there's an F to the right of 1 for Healing Attribute.


 It's the same in other places too. For example, it seems to be related to physical status.


 Strength: 1E Mana Quantity: C8


 Strength is 1E, and Mana Quantity is C8? Is it a glitch, perhaps? Just because I'm not a hero, does it have to be this bad?

 In decimal notation, it goes like this: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and then it carries over to become 10.


 But in hexadecimal notation, it goes like this: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F, and then it carries over to become 10 (which is sixteen in decimal).


 When you convert 10 (which is sixteen) in hexadecimal to decimal, it's not 10 (which is ten) but actually 16. It's a bit confusing, but this is how it's counted.


 So, if the strength stat is 1E, when you convert it to decimal, umm, 10 becomes 16 and E becomes 14, so it's 16 + 14 which is 30. The strength stat is 30, huh? ...Wait, this seems familiar.


 I remember now, in a certain MMO, my character was a priest. They're still in the process of leveling up, but I think I allocated 30 points to strength.


 I'm pretty sure Healing Magic was at level 31. When converted to hexadecimal, that's 1F? Huh? I remember the maximum MP was 200, in hexadecimal that's C8. Huh? What's going on? It's the same as the display on the screen though?


 Anyway, I'll understand once I raise Healing Magic by 1. It should display as 20 (with a zero) when it goes up again. Let's think of a way to raise it.
