"Building Achievements?"
"Yeah, I'll work even more for the sake of this guild."
I told Nina.
Previously, people from the Uralis Kingdom had come and tried to turn me into a poster boy as a hero.
For a country with little connection, I have no intention of being such a thing.
But for the sake of this guild that has taken care of me, it's a different story.
"My current adventurer rank is D-class, but I think if I accumulate achievements, I can go higher. Even at this stage, in the next update, I might be able to promote to C... or maybe even to B."
The adventurer rank is a common indicator used by all guilds.
This ranking is managed by a place called the Guild Federation.
It is an umbrella organization that brings together all the hundreds of adventurer guilds in various places.
The Federation receives achievement reports from affiliated adventurers of each adventurer guild and creates rankings based on them.
"The next ranking update is just tomorrow."
Nina said.
Basically, the updates happen once a month.
I've been here for about three weeks.
It'll be my first ranking update day as a member of the 'Blue Crystal' adventurers.
"I hope your rank goes up. I'm rooting for you too."
"Thanks, Nina."
"Oh, and... what the Auntie said earlier, about that."
"Hm?"
"So, um, she said I was talking about Rain-san at the cafeteria."
"Yeah."
"I'm not saying anything bad, just how amazing Rain-san is, so—"
"I never doubted that. You're not the type to do that, Nina."
"Rain-san…"
Nina flashed a shy smile.
"Well, well, looks like a good atmosphere, huh?"
"Oh, come on, you can't say that, Auntie…"
Nina's face turns red again.
What a cute little girl, I thought to myself.
And the next day.
"Congratulations, Rain-san!"
When I arrived at the guild, Nina rushed up to me from the reception desk.
"The updated rankings have just been announced. It seems that Rain-san has moved up two ranks from D-class to B-class!"
"B-class...!"
S-class is a hero, A-class is top-notch, and B-class is top-notch.
This is generally said to be the case.
I will now be joining the ranks of first-class adventurers.
In this guild, the only other B-rank adventurer is Bernard-san.
Also, Rath is said to be close to reaching B-rank, and achieving this at such a young age is quite remarkable.
"It's a B rank in no time."

A class, then S class.
