"Let's go, 'Refaid of The Light Dragon Emperor Sword'"
I call out to my beloved sword.
In front of me is a magic beast (majuu) covered in armor made of rock, about five meters long.
It's an Earth Emperor Beast (Bephimos).
It's the same kind of monster I fought before in the 'Ruins of the Light Dragon'.
"Let's crush these humans...!"
Bephimos approaches.
I reflexively check my surroundings.
My sword, strengthened by +10000, possesses an incredibly powerful strike that can tear through space.
However, because of its wide attack range, using it in crowded places would cause collateral damage.
Luckily, it's not a problem right now since this place is deserted.
So, I flash my sword.
With a burst of shockwave, Bephimos is blown away.
"Ah, materials... I wonder if there's anything left."
Another difficulty is that unless it's a very sturdy monster, it's in danger of being wiped out in a single blow.
The Bephimos has tough armor, so its core was unharmed.
"Good. Let's collect."
I'll also collect the strengthening points while I'm at it.

Nina received the fragment of the Bephimos's armor that I placed on the counter.
"Most of the Bephimos's body was blown away, but there's still some left. I'd like to have a contractor come later to collect the materials."
"Understood, I'll make the arrangements."
Nina nodded in response to my words.
"Also, I want to strengthen the guild members' weapons and armor as usual. Can I ask you to make an announcement later?"
"Of course."
"You go through a lot of trouble, Nina."
"That's my job."
Nina said with a smile.
"You're such a hard worker, Nina."
"The one working the hardest is Rain-san."
Nina continued,
"Thanks to you defeating powerful monsters one after another, all the residents around here have been helped. Until now, when strong monsters appeared, we had to contact other guilds to send adventurers of rank A or higher."
"I see..."
"Also, everyone's weapons and armor have been strengthened, which has made everyone's quests progress smoothly. Did you know, Rain-san? Since you arrived, our guild's quest completion rate has more than doubled."
"Is that because the weapons and armor have become stronger...?"
"Yes."
Nina nodded with a smile.
