Chapter 17 I Don'T Understand What'S Going On
It's been over three months since I was suddenly summoned into this world. And to top it off, it's been quite some time since I received that infamous spellbook.
Finally, my Healing Attribute level is at 3B, or level 59 in decimal notation. Is there really no way to convert this hexadecimal notation? I remember my senior advisor telling me that being able to do mental calculations would come in handy, especially for Final Fantasy, but I never thought it would be useful in a situation like this.
But anyway, it's just so confusing at first glance. Is there no way to switch to decimal display? I've been searching for checkboxes that might be hidden or radio buttons that might be missing, but I can't find anything. I'm thinking of looking for a command to access the settings screen eventually. And can you believe there might be a special incantation for this? Nah, that's impossible, right? It just seems pointless to go to such lengths for something so small.
Every day, I continue treating nearly ten people, and although I felt like things were going well at first, once I reached around level 60, it became difficult to make progress. You know that feeling when you just don't feel like you're improving? It's not like I level up by one point with each assessment. There are invisible decimal points internally, and it feels like the experience points in that area are slowly increasing. If that's the case, then it's one of those patterns where you level up when you least expect it.
Well, with all that said, I've come to understand the reality of this country to some extent. The priests and priestesses said to be in the church, and those with the Healing Attribute, are probably at a much lower level than me. Therefore, they are likely busy with treating the royal family and nobles, so they don't have time for the citizens.
The Oso (Dreadful element) poison doesn't cause instant death, so in a sense, it's being neglected. However, as you age, the symptoms worsen visibly. Since the symptoms are evident and people know the condition of the deceased, when that time comes, people can only think of it as fate.
If you think about it, the royal family might only be focusing on prevention and not reaching the point of treatment, considering they have neglected the Oso poison damage to the citizens for such a long time. Either way, it's only natural for the upper echelons of the country, which are irreplaceable, to take priority. I don't think I'm the only one who doesn't agree with it.

Most of the spells listed there are like curses. It's dangerous if you use them incorrectly. Was it the "Inversion Formula"? That one is too dangerous. I can't help but think that the person who came up with it is a real sadist.
Since the other day, I've been continuously leveling up my Healing Attribute from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I'm constantly using both "Pulse (Pulsating Support Spell)" and "Full Recover (Complete Recovery)" at the same time. It's like constantly running on a battery-free EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) device. The only difference is that, at the moment, there are no side effects, I guess?
"Full Recover" itself is the strongest magic in the recovery spells, but it was tough to get used to. When I cast it when nothing's wrong, my eyes become super alert, and there's a little reaction down there. It's like being in a state as if I took a strong aphrodisiac like "Zukkon Emperor Liquid." That was tough...
I've already cast "Mana Recover (Magic Element Recovery Spell)" to promote the natural recovery of my mana, so my mana don't deplete, but when "Full Recover" is automatically recast, about 10% of the current mana disappear. Even so, the amount of mana is steadily increasing. It's kind of managing somehow because it doesn't affect my work.

As for the treatment, Julienne-san and Liliurage-san has been explained to the patients in advance by, so we have an agreement not to spread it around. Even so, because I'm somewhat well-known in this castle town, the number of people who greet me while I'm taking a normal walk has been increasing.
