Chapter 84 Oso Poison Collection
I enter the hole I dug myself and take out a bottle from my inventory. I twist it, and unscrewing the metal lid. It looks like it has been cleaned once. There is no dust inside.
I then shave a wooden root diagonally and insert it into the mouth of the bottle. Then, slowly but surely, a creepy Oso with a muddy black surface that seems to shine flows down. I wait patiently until the bottle is about half full, then remove the root and close the lid.
I collect another Oso flowing from the root in the same way. The transparency of the bottle is low, but it has a creepy blackness. I don't find it scary, but I think it's quite troublesome.
After the second one, onto the third. The third one is slightly tricky but I manage to finish. For the fourth one, I put a thin, unshaved root into the bottle and cut it when it's tightly pressed. Then I close the lid. As for the last one, I put some soil from here and close the lid when it's about 70% full.
I came out of the hole and stored everything in my inventory except for the shovel. Filling the hole with dirt was easier than I thought. I dropped it all at once, patted it down, lightly stomped on it, and the job was done. I put the shovel in my inventory and headed back to Rosalier-san and the others.
"I'm done with what I needed to do, so should we go back?"
"Welcome back!"
'Kuu'
Rosalier-san got on Centrena before me. Centrena drove slowly and bounced lightly.
"Centrena-san, can you please take us to the village we just passed by?"
'Kuu'
Both Centrena and Alesion understand my words well. So, if I can guess their responses, I can have a conversation to some extent.
Now, we arrived back at the village where Rosalier-san grew up.
"Centrena-san, to that open area, please."
'Kuu'
We smoothly descended and landed gracefully. It's been a while since we left, but it doesn't seem like it's been disturbed. Probably because they brought all kinds of food, like grains.
"Goshujin-sama, can I come with you?"
"Yeah, Centrena, just wait a bit."

We entered Rosalier's ancestral home, the chieftain's mansion, without hesitation. It was next to the room where I stayed before.
"Um, is it okay if I have this? It's a memento from my mother."
It was a furniture piece with a vintage-looking dresser and mirror.
"Yeah, let me see."
The furniture in front of us disappeared.
"I-is everything okay?"
Hmm, an inventory appeared on the screen. Huh? It seems to have increased a bit? Oh, it leveled up to level 2. So that Magic Tool can be stored even when we're apart far away? Well, let's leave that for now. There seems to be about 40 more slots available.
"Yeah. I can still keep going!"
"Well then--"
We went to Corbett-san's house and stored various things. It's convenient that weight doesn't matter, right? Oh, I can stack things that look similar? They call it a 'storage shelf'. Of course, the 'dresser' too. Maybe it's because the same person made them? Or maybe there are some conditions for it.
Actually, when it comes to skewers, the meat is separate. It's surprisingly simple and allows for a lot of freedom, I guess.
I was surprised that I could store the bed too. I couldn't do that before, but I think it's because I leveled up to level 2. This skill would be useful for becoming a merchant. If I couldn't use the Healing Attribute magic, maybe I would have become a merchant.

Ugh. I get scared sometimes.

Now, Rosalier-san rides on Centrena's back. Feeling a bit down, I follow along. Checking the time, it's almost 11 am. By the time we get back to Watterhill's, will it be lunchtime?
Before long, we arrive at the stables in Watterhill's. I quickly cast "Dis Recover (Cure Disease)" and "Full Recover" on Centrena and Rosalier-san.
But you know, not even a 0.5 millimeter discoloration can be seen on my finger. What's up with my body?
"Lunch is ready."
"Yeah, yeah."
I step out of the room. After lunch, I plan to unpack the items brought from the village. Now, for lunch, oh, I smell meat cooking. Huh, meat for lunch, how unusual――

There's one plate on the table, and water in the glass. But there are only 5 skewers on the plate.
"This is?"
"Yes. It's lunch, but what's up?"
At Rosalier-san's place, there's soup, root vegetables, and leafy salad. A sandwich with grilled chicken in it. Oh? Isn't it too different?
"I mentioned it the other day, right?"
"Yes?"
Ah, is that it?
"You mean when I got scolded the other day and said, 'Next time I'll just have skewers'?"
"Yes, exactly. You remembered. I just bought them, they're freshly grilled, so they'll get cold if you don't eat them soon."
"For real?"
Yeah, it was a sad meal. The skewers were tasty though. If I eat 5 of them, even I get full. But you know, Rosalier-san's meal looked delicious... I regret it. *Sigh*
Rosalier-san's room is on the first floor. I started unpacking the belongings that were brought from the village's mansion.
I entered this room for the first time, but surprisingly, there wasn't much here. I heard that the servants used to live here, but even so, there's not much stuff. There's a bed, a table, and a small organizing shelf. That's about it. I don't know what's inside the closet. I can't look inside, you know.
The bed that was here, I moved it to the empty room. We brought a bed from the other mansion, so we didn't need two, of course.
"Goshujin-sama, can I ask you to place the dresser here?"
"Yes, sure."
I placed the dresser along the wall next to the window.
"What about the bed?"
"Please put it here."
In the place where the previous bed was, now there's a slightly bigger bed. Both the dresser and the bed seem to have been used by her mother.
I brought various things from Rosalier-san's other room. Thanks to that, this room, which was a bit plain, now feels lively. It might even be fancier than my own room.
So, you see, I can put anything into my inventory. Sometimes, it ends up looking like a newly rented inn room. When I don't need something anymore, I just store it away.

Now, it was around 2 pm. I went to the Black Forest Human tribe's dormitory and unloaded all the luggage.
Brigitte-san came out, but Corbett-san is holed up. He's checking out that Magic Tool for me. I'm grateful. I asked Rosalier-san to bring Corbett-san's favorite food later.
The Oso I collected over there is scheduled for reporting tomorrow, so I don't plan on doing much today. If I put it in my inventory, I hope it will stay in the same condition. I don't expect it to increase or decrease.
Since I don't have anything to do until Corbett-san comes in the evening, I went to the stable and brushed Centrena and Alesion. I've never had a pet like a dog or a cat before, but is this how it feels? Well, Centrena and the others are more like family than pets, though.
If I go to the guild tomorrow, I should ask Privia-san if it's okay to build a stable on the mansion grounds. I mean, ideally I would use one of the free rooms, but that would probably be a problem. It would be too cramped once she spread her wings, you know. And it doesn't seem like she can get in through the door.
