Volume 1 Chapter 21 Investigation Of The Abnormality
"Um, Emerald Green Dungeon? Is that the name of that eastern dungeon?"
Fatina asked Ryuin.
She, who lives in a nearby village, seemed to have heard the name for the first time.
"Yes. Judging from your reaction, it seems like you didn't know either."
Ryuin said while sitting, arms crossed.
"Have you never heard of it, Fatina?"

Ryuin blurted out without hesitation. In other words, if we help them with their work, they will give us some kind of reward along with that information.
"...Ryuin, using that kind of language will definitely raise suspicions. You should speak more normally."
Sitting in front of them, Leoness, the Holy Knight with slicked-back blond hair, said with a sigh.
"Ryuin always rushes the conversation."
Now even Veronica, the priestess, said it.
Upon hearing this from the two, Ryuin's face gradually turned red.
"I, I understand! I'm sorry! I really don't have any intention of using you both in a clever way or anything like that!"
Ryuin denied it in a panic, shaking both hands vigorously. Compared to the S-rank parties I had met before, Ryuin didn't exude much authority.
But seeing Ryuin like that, Fatina's face brightened.

"Well, let me explain briefly. We want you two to advance together with us in the Emerald Green Dungeon and investigate the cause of this incident."
"To investigate with Ryuin-san and the others? Really?"
"Yeah. That's why we came to this town. Something is happening in that dungeon right now. And the source of the problem is probably beyond the middle layer, in the lower layer—it must be there. So we want to aim for the lower layer."
The lower layer, that means the deepest part of the dungeon.
I have only gone as far as the upper layer for now, but it seems like they intend to continue further.
