Volume 6 Chapter 5 Strengthening The Weapons Of Companions
We headed to 'Shield of the Holy Emperor' by carriage.
"Hey, I'm going to give Mirabell and Martina's weapons some Strengthening points."
I said to the two inside the carriage.
"Do you know how to use enchantment magic? If so, could you please help? Thank you."
"Thank you, thank you."
Martina handed over the 'Faiza the Skyrend Sword', while Mirabell presented two knives.
"Do you both have any other weapons? I'll strengthen all the ones you have."
"I only have this sword."
Said Martina.
"All of them? Then, are you okay with around a hundred knives?"
"A hundred? You have that many?"
"I'm an assassin, so I have plenty of weapons."
Mirabell lifted her skirt.
"Whoa!"
"I'm just bring out my weapons."
Both thighs were wrapped in belts.
And there's a throwing knife──
"Do you wear it even when riding a carriage? Doesn't it hurt?"
Martina asked.
"It's a little painful."
"Then, shouldn't you take it off? We're not going to fight here, after all."
I replied.
"Okay then."
Mirabell said as she removed all the hidden weapons from her thigh belt and put them in her backpack.
"It feels lighter. Yay!"
She exclaimed happily.
"Do you also have other weapons in your backpack?"
"Yes, I have some in my backpack and hidden in other places."
As expected of an assassin...
──After that, I enhanced Martina's sword and Mirabell's weapons with Strengthening points +300.
I can enhance my own weapon up to +30000, but the maximum limit for enhancing others' weapons is +300.
However, Mirabell has too many weapons, so if I enhance all of them, I'll run out of points.
For now, I just enhanced the weapons she use the most.
"You have a maximum of 30,000, right? Why are you keeping it at 10,000?"
Martina asked.
"If I reinforce it too much, the weapon will be burdened. Even if it's a legendary sword, I don't know how long it can withstand..."
The current +10,000 is a level where the an average weapon cannot withstand its power with just one or two swings.
Of course, the legendary sword 'Refaid of The Light Dragon Emperor Sword' won't even flinch.
Still, if I add any more strengthening points, even the 'Refaid Sword' doesn't know what will happen.
"Why don't you get it appraised?"
"Huh?"
"There's a world-class appraiser in Uralis."
Martina said.
"After this, we're planning to go to Uralis together. It's for a strategy meeting and preparations for the future. Let's get your sword appraised there. I'll talk to the appraiser on your behalf."
