Having broken through the group of 'Flame Armored Ogres', we ventured further into the ruins.
"Ah, I see. Strengthening each sword's special effects... you could do that?"
Lily looked impressed when she heard the reason why I was able to defeat the monsters without causing any harm to the surrounding area.
"Yeah. I used to enhance them without much thought, but Albert-san taught me in detail about the special effects of each sword, so I reset them."
By the way, the special effects of the three legendary swords that Albert-san appraised are:
'Refaid of The Light Dragon Emperor Sword'

[Increase in slashing power]

As for Lily's sword, I have allocated an additional +150 to each of the two special effects.
Regarding Martina's sword, after hearing her opinion, I evenly allocated +100 to each of the three effects.
"Enchantment magic... handy."
Mirabell murmured.
"Hmm?"
"It seems like it could be more useful for things like illegal intrusions and assassinations."
"I don't use it for those kinds of things."
"Try to find a way to make it work for that."
"No."
"What a pity..."
Mirabell sighed.
"By the way, is this girl an assassin? Why is she in our party?"

"You're A-rank too, and yet you're at the party."
"I'm here as Lily-senpai's escort."
"But you're just A-rank."
"Don't say 'just'! Being A-rank is a big deal out there!"
"Lily is S-rank. An S-rank partner suits her."

I cut in between the two (Mirabell and Margaret).
"Margaret's skills are solid, and she has fought alongside Lily many times. So, I asked her to join us. She's also the only magic swordsman here, and I'm sure she'll have her time to shine."
"Rain..."
Margaret looked at me in surprise.
"You're covering for me... You're a good guy, huh?"
What did she think of me until now?
"I thought you were a sneaky bug trying to deceive Lily-senpai... My bad."
"No, it's not――"
"T-trying to deceive me? Oh, geez. What are you saying, Margaret!"
Lily's cheeks turned pink as she screamed.
"Oh, so humans have come all the way here..."

Two figures appeared ahead.

"You don't seem human."
Lily drew her sword.
"Indeed. We are loyal followers of the Light Dragon King."
"We are the Seven Dragon Knights. You shall not pass beyond this point."
