Volume 1 Chapter 43 The Merchant Guild And Teleportation Magic
After we got information about Aquaflow Cavern at the guild, we decided to visit different shops to get the equipment and things we needed.
During the fight with Iria on our way to Trasverum, my broadsword got broken. So, I have to buy a new weapon.
I don't know how to use swords, and I mainly use Instant Death Magic in battles, so the weapon is just something extra.
It doesn't have to be expensive, but I wanted something that could protect me from Iria's attacks.
(By the way, it takes a whole day just to move. It's taking too long.)
While thinking about today's shopping, I remember the information I heard from the person at the front desk of the guild.
To go to Aquaflow Cavern, it takes about a day by carriage from Trasverum.
Emerald Green Dungeon was close to the town, but this one is too far to keep going there all the time.
Even though my abilities have improved and Mel has joined our group, it's not a good idea to think that we can clear the dungeon in one go.
The most troublesome thing is being caught by the Cretia soldiers led by Iria while we are moving.
We have to stay alert because we don't know how much of Trasverum is protected by the merchant guild.
"Ark-san, are you thinking about something?"
While I was walking and thinking with my hand on my chin, Mel came up to me and spoke.
"Well, I was thinking, isn't it too much to travel by carriage for a whole day every time we go to the dungeon?"
"Yeah, we were able to walk from Voltana to the Emerald Green Dungeon. A whole day seems a bit too long. Sitting for too long can make your butt hurt too."
Fatina also agrees with me.
At this rate, it will take us two days just for the round trip. We'll have to carry more food because of that, and the hard carriage bed will make us tired.

Mel began to think while crossing her arms, and she looked over as if she had just remembered something.

One was wearing brown leather armor, and the other was wearing a full-body armor made of steel, which did not fit the scenery of Trasverum at all.
If that's the case, it could be either a soldier for hire or an adventurer.

The lady frowned when she saw the group of three that appeared.
"I came here to hear the answer to our previous talk, Toto-san."
"Hah, do we have to explain again? You need to change the trading to the Wiol merchant guild."

With a mean smile, the men walked closer to the counter. Toto must be the name of the owner of this shop.

As Fatina stepped forward to protect the shop owner, the trio turned to face each other and began to laugh.

The two men approached us and prepared their fists.

The two men attacked me.

The man pointed at me and shouted.
I approached him.
"Don't come any closer!"
Perhaps sensing danger, the man quickly opened the door and ran outside.
"I almost forgot."
I threw the unconscious men towards the road, causing the man to retreat even further.
"D-damn it... Adventurers are so annoying! Remember this!"
The man ran away, leaving the two men behind.
We'll have to call the guards later to catch them.
"Are you okay?"

The woman said so and bowed deeply in thanks.

"They are members of the Wiol Merchant Guild, a large and influential merchant guild in Trasverum."

"In that case, there's something I would like to ask. I'm looking for someone who can use [Teleportaion Magic], do you know anyone in this city?"
When I said that, the shop owner looked worried.
"Magicians who have the skill of '[Teleportaion Magic]' are very rare and highly valued, so they are usually hired by knight orders or big merchant guilds..."
So Mel knew, but it seems that regular adventurers like us didn't even know it existed. This is a problem.
