Chapter 74 The World'S First Aerial Photograph
In the early morning, there seemed to be a lot of coming and going of carriages. The entrance to the stable was open. As I entered the passage, a carriage was coming out from over there. Oh, I see. Normally, things like that would come out from this side, huh?
The two of us moved to the side to let the carriage pass. We continued forward and opened the door at the end of the path.

Do dragon species like Centrena have a keen sense of smell too? I was about to retort, "Are you Kumei-san after all?" with a similar tone. Well, as soon as I opened the door, she was right in front of me.
"Okay, good morning. Have you eaten?"

"Could you hold this for me? And then, could you cut it vertically from the middle? Leave about two to three layers of skin at the bottom."
I take out bread from my inventory and hand it to Rosalier. She lifts the hem of her skirt and takes out a knife, swiftly cutting the bread for me. But wow, I wonder how she's hiding the knife? Maybe she's also got the Space Attribute or something. Nah, that's probably not true.
"Is this okay?"

I put the leftover skewerless yakitori from the day before between the bread.

I teamed up with Rosalier-san. Four more to go, making five in total. I made something like hot dogs out of meat enough for five skewers and fed it to Centrena.

"Are you satisfied?"

"Good, then could you give me a lift?"

Centrena lay down, and first, Rosalier-san got on her side-saddle, then I got on behind Rosalier-san, wrapping my arms around her, and Centrena slowly stood up. By breakfast time, the door to the ranch we could see behind us was open.
I've heard from Privia-san that even if some external threat came, Centrena could easily drive them away. So, I'm not worried. After all, this place seems to be a facility of the guild, kind of like a side job.
That's why Privia-san can leave her precious Alesion and Centrena in the special stable at the very back, used only by her, like it's her reserved spot. I think it would be impossible if it wasn't directly managed by the guild.
The ranch behind the stables is quite large, along the lake. Centrena runs there with light steps. She spreads her wings similar to Rosalier's hair color. She collects a little and jumps a little. After that, we felt like she was floating. She can easily flap her wings and take us to the skies in no time.
There's no altimeter on the "self-status display" part of the screen I'm looking at. If there was an appraisal like Maya's, it might be possible. I want that skill.

"Yes, could you please come up a little higher?"

What was the pixel count again? I think it was mentioned in the catalog specs. It should have specs comparable to a digital SLR camera. It doesn't have such fancy lenses, though.
While giving directions to Centrena with my fingertips, I continued taking photos. By the time we almost completed circling the entire Daioraden, the battery was at 95%. It has decreased quite a bit.

This is also one side of Rosalier-san. It seems like she doesn't even notice that she's talking with different way.
Anyway, because I'm scared of the battery level, I put my smartphone in the inventory.
"Centrena, you can come back now."

Centrena lowers the altitude slowly as if turning around. Then, Centrena glides through the sky as if running. It's amazing, and I'm really moved. Yeah.
When we return to the stable, Centrena puts me down and lies down. I cast 'Recover (Healing Spell)' on Centrena.
"Alright. Then we'll meet again the day after tomorrow. I'll have you fly a long distance in the evening."

"Thank you, Centrena-san."

We make a promise to meet again with Centrena and leave the stable. I head to the guild as is. Rosalier-san said she will investigate the area where the nobles live in detail.
"Well, when I'm done, I'll grab a few big sheets of paper and head home. I'll go straight to the stables after the guild meeting, so let's meet up there, okay?
"Okay, got it. See you later."
"Yeah, please.
Rosalier-san bowed deeply to me and then quickly disappeared. How did she do that? Like a ninja or something!

New record! I raised my arms high as if touching the ceiling, still clenching my fists.
"Phew, that was tough."
Julienne-san's voice sounded like she was running out of energy. Her and Etoelise-san's teamwork has improved. That's why I don't have to wait around as much anymore.
About 80 people in the morning, and around 120 in the afternoon. We've passed 200 people now. Pretty impressive. With this, I can treat all the people in this town, about 2000 of them, in about 10 days. Then I can use the free time for investigation.
During breaks in treatment, I cast the "Recover (Healing Spell)" on myself, so I don't get physically tired. But the Healing Attribute magic has no effect on mental fatigue.
"Soutome-sama, I feel like I'm going to die."
"M-me too."
Julienne-san and Etoelise-san are exhausted at the reception desk. I approach them and touch their tired hands that are thrown on the counter. I cast "Recover" and they can get up and start working on today's remaining tasks. It's dangerous, right? Well, I guess there's no choice because the guild can't be closed.
"Well then, I'll leave first."
"Yes. Good job today."
"Good job."
I leave the guild building and head to the stable where Centrena is waiting. I hope I didn't make her feel lonely since I didn't visit yesterday. She's such a well-behaved and good girl.
On there, the stable's entrance is still not closed. I'm glad. Since it doesn't seem like I need to close it when I'm here, I guess I was able to slip in.
When I opened the door to the back, she was there after all.
'Kuu.'
"Yeah yeah. Sorry, I've been busy during the day."
'Kuu.'
"Did you eat your food?"
'Kuu.'
I heard that they said they would feed her before evening, but it seems like she doesn't eat much. It's probably not good that I'm the one feeding her like this.
